Having a court appearance can be nerve-wracking.  Your attorney will provide you with information about appearing in court and what, generally, to expect that day.  Some information that is applicable to all persons appearing in Court, though: Cheatham County Courts require that all persons attending court check in through court house security.  As security lines are sometimes long, please be sure to arrive at least thirty minutes prior to your court time.  Court rules prohibit cell phones, weapons, and shorts in the courthouse.

A real estate closing is a big transaction for most people, and we are pleased to be able to help.  Our attorneys will work to make your closing as smooth as possible.  On the day of closing, please be sure to bring at least two forms of identification with you to your closing.  Also, please be advised that due to the Good Funds Law and our Trust Account Best Practices requirements, for all real estate closings in which we disburse funds on behalf of clients, we require all funds over $1,500.00 to be wired to our account.  Prior to wiring your funds, please be sure to call our office to confirm wire instructions.  We will never email you a change of wire instructions, so if you receive a change of wire instructions via email, please contact us immediately.
